How to update your availability

Keeping your availability up to date in BrightPath is one of the best ways to maximise your teaching opportunities with Alucea.

Accurate availability helps us match you with new learners more quickly and allows your existing learners to book lessons at times that work for both of you.

Updating your availability

To update your availability:

  1. Log in to your Tutor Dashboard.
  2. Click Lesson Calendar from the navigation menu.
  3. Click Update Availability at the top of the page.
  4. Select your preferred Timezone.
  5. Save a default 4-week view of your availability

4-Week View

This allows you to set your availability for specific dates over a rolling four-week period.

To update your availability:

  1. Click 4-Week View.
  2. Click the date you wish to update.
  3. Click Add Slot.
  4. Enter your available teaching time(s).
  5. Repeat for any additional dates or time slots.

Best practices

To help us match you with learners as quickly as possible:

  • Keep your availability up to date whenever your schedule changes.
  • Add all the times you are genuinely available to teach.
  • Remove any availability you can no longer commit to.
  • Check your availability regularly, especially before school holidays or when your routine changes.

Keeping your calendar accurate helps ensure a smooth booking experience for both you and your learners.
