How to update your availability

Keeping your availability up to date on BrightPath is the best way to maximise your tuition time with LessonWise.

Not only does it increase the likelihood that we’ll match you with new learners as they sign up for our Family Plans, but it also makes it easier for your existing learners to book additional lessons with you.

To update your availability:

    1. Log in to your Tutor Dashboard.
    2. Click on ‘Lesson Calendar’ in the navigation bar on the left.
    3. Click ‘Update Availability’ at the top of the page
    4. Select 'Weekly Pattern' or '4-Week View'
    5. Select 'Timezone'

Two ways to update your availability

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to keep your availability up to date, which is why we offer two ways to tell us when you’re free to teach:

Weekly pattern
  • This allows you to set recurring availability by each day of the week. Simply set it and we’ll see that your available at the times on an ongoing basis.
4-week view
  • Need to be more specific about your availability. Use the 4-week view to set specific times that you’re free across a 4-week rolling period.

Updating the weekly pattern

Once you’ve followed the steps above, simply:

  1. Click ‘Add slot’ under each day that and add as many time slots are you need to show your total availability. This could be multiple slots across the day (e.g. Monday 14:00-16:00 & 18:00-19:00) or one long slot (e.g. Monday 14:00-19:00)

Updating the 4-week view

Once you’ve followed the steps above:

  1. Click 4-week view
  2. Click on each day you’re free across the 4-week calendar
  3. Add as many slots as you need to each day to show your total availability
