How to set homework

Setting homework is a fantastic way to keep your learners engaged between sessions, track their progress, and reinforce the topics you've covered together in class.

On BrightPath, we’ve designed the homework tool to be as straightforward as possible, keeping you, your students, and their parents perfectly aligned. Whether you are assigning a quick worksheet, a reading task, or a larger project, you can manage everything right from your dashboard in just a few clicks.

To set homework for your students:

1. Log in to your Tutor Dashboard.
2. Click on Homework in the navigation bar on the left.
3. Select the student you want to set the homework for.
4. Select the homework subject.
5. Enter a homework title.
6. Set the due date.
7. Add a difficulty level and the number of points available.
8. Enter a description and an optional hint for if they get stuck.
9. Upload any attachments.
10. Click Create homework.

Once set, your student and their parents will be notified that there’s new homework waiting for them.
