How to reschedule or cancel a lesson | Tutors
While providing consistency for your learners is incredibly important and it is never ideal to reschedule a lesson, we understand that sometimes emergencies happen and schedule changes are unavoidable.
When you need to reschedule or cancel, it is crucial that you give as much notice as possible. This ensures parents have adequate time to replan their child's week and minimises disruption to the learner's routine. As a standard, please ensure you process any schedule changes at least 48 hours before the lesson is due to take place.
To reschedule or cancel a lesson simply:
- Log in to your Tutor Dashboard.
- Click on ‘Lesson Calendar’ in the navigation bar on the left.
- Click on the lesson you need to reschedule or cancel.
- Click ‘Reschedule/Cancel lesson’ and follow the steps provided.
If the lesson is happening in less than 48 hours
If an unforeseen circumstance means you need to change a lesson with less than 48 hours' notice, we will do our best to help manage the situation with the family, but we cannot guarantee a seamless reschedule. If this happens, please reach out to us immediately:

- Open the live chat to speak directly with Customer Support.
