How to message a student or parent

Clear and timely communication helps build strong relationships between tutors, learners, and parents. To make communication simple and secure, BrightPath includes a built-in messaging system where you can send messages, share updates, and manage conversations in one place.

alucea Messaging Policy

The safety and wellbeing of our learners is our highest priority. To help safeguard students and protect everyone involved, all communication with students and parents must take place through BrightPath.

Communicating outside the platform is a breach of the alucea Safeguarding Policy and Tutor Terms and Conditions and may result in the removal of your tutoring account.

For full details, please refer to the alucea Safeguarding Policy.

When communicating with students and parents, please ensure that:

  • All communication takes place through BrightPath.
  • You do not share your personal phone number, email address, or social media accounts.
  • You do not ask students or parents to communicate using external messaging platforms.
  • If a student or parent requests off-platform communication, politely decline and notify Customer Support immediately.

Keeping all communication within BrightPath helps safeguard our learners while also providing a secure record of conversations should any questions or concerns arise.
