How to join a lesson

Joining a lesson on BrightPath is quick and straightforward. Once your scheduled lesson is available, you can access the virtual classroom directly from your Tutor Dashboard.

We recommend joining your lesson at least 5-10 minutes early to ensure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are working correctly before your student arrives.

Joining a lesson

To join a lesson:

1. Log in to your Tutor Dashboard.
2. Click Lessons from the navigation menu.
3. Locate the lesson you wish to join.
4. Click the lesson to open the Lesson Details window.
5. Review the lesson information, including the learner, subject, and scheduled time.
6. Click Join Lesson.

You will be taken directly to the virtual classroom when the lesson becomes available.

Before you join

Before starting your lesson, we recommend that you:

• Join the lesson 5–10 minutes before the scheduled start time
• Ensure your camera and microphone are working correctly
• Check your internet connection is stable
• Close any unnecessary applications or browser tabs to optimise performance
• Have your teaching materials ready before the lesson begins
