How to add a new learner
If you'd like to add another learner to your Family Plan, our team will guide you through the process to ensure your account remains accurate and your plan continues to meet your family's needs.
To help us manage learner capacity and Family Plan limits, new learners can only be added by the Alucea team.
Requesting a new learner
Before submitting your request, please check whether your Family Plan has reached its maximum number of learners.
To request a new learner:
- Contact your Account Manager.
- Provide the following information about the new learner:
- Full name
- Age
- Year group
- Subjects they require tuition in
- Number of lessons per month required
Once we receive your request, we'll review your Family Plan and advise you on the next steps.
If the new learner fits within your current Family Plan
If your existing Family Plan can accommodate the new learner, your Account Manager will:
- Confirm that the learner can be added to your plan.
- Recommend suitable tutors based on the learner's needs.
- Arrange Meet & Greet sessions with the recommended tutors.
- Once you've selected your preferred tutor(s), add the learner to your account.
- Schedule the learner's lessons in BrightPath.
If your Family Plan needs to be upgraded
If your current Family Plan does not have enough learner spaces or lesson credits to accommodate the new learner, your Account Manager will discuss upgrade options with you.
Once you have chosen the most suitable Family Plan, we will:
- Upgrade your plan.
- Add the new learner to your account.
- Arrange tutor matches and Meet & Greet sessions.
- Schedule the learner's lessons once you've confirmed your preferred tutor(s).
What happens next?
After your new learner has been added, they will appear in your BrightPath account, and you'll be able to:
- View their scheduled lessons.
- Access lesson resources and homework.
- Monitor their progress and reports.
- Communicate with their tutor through BrightPath Messages.
Your Account Manager will keep you informed throughout the process and ensure everything is in place before lessons begin.
